LironCert, a website under the laws of the State of Israel, operates by an individual (hereinafter: “LironCert”). LironCert values and respects your privacy and want you to trust that your information is respected while you use www.lironcert.com (hereifafter: “Website” or “The Website” or “We”), that is why we will follow the terms set forth below, describing and guiding our treatment of your private information. The terms of the Privacy Policy detailed below form an integral part of the Terms of Use of our website. All definitions and terms appearing in the Privacy Policy shall have the same meaning ascribed to them under the Terms of Use, unless context demands otherwise.
This Privacy Policy details how your PII (as defined below) is collected via the Website is used and processed by LironCert.
IMPORTANT: By visiting LironCert’s Website you (“YOU“) give your consent to the Terms and Conditions of this Privacy Policy and consent that certain PPI (Defined below) that you submit or that is processed, used, or collected through or in connection with the website will be processed by LironCert and its affiliates in the manner and for the purposes described in the following privacy policy.
The definition here for “PII” to mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; An identifiable natural person is the one who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
You are not legally required to provide us with PII, However, some use of the website requires that you provide PII. If you choose to withhold or delete any PII requested by us, it will not be possible for you to use the website. 6.5. 7. PII Security. While LironCert procures and employs appropriate measures (given that nature of the information, processing activities, purposes of the processing and sensitivity of the information provided) and procedures in order to protect your information and reduce the risk of unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction of such information, these measures and procedures do not ensure absolute security. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, LironCert does not guarantee that the website and/or its services will be completely immune to unauthorized access to the information on the website, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In case we have any reason to believe that there is any risk to breach of security, or if we detect such threat or risk, LironCert may suspend without notification, all or any part of the website and/or services.

8. Data Retention. We retain your PII only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with any applicable legal or ethical reporting or document retention requirements.
Legal basis for our processing, in case(s):
8.1. We must keep it to comply with applicable law;
8.2. We must keep it to evidence our compliance with applicable law (for instance, records of consents to our Terms, Privacy Policy and other similar consents are kept for five years);
8.3. There is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved; or
8.4. The information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users’ safety and security.
9. Data Integrity. LironCert processes PII only for the purposes for which it was collected or used and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable service agreements or Terms. We review our data collection, usage, storage and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, use, store and process the PII needed to provide or improve our Website. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the PII we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their PII whenever necessary. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is interpreted as an obligation to store PII, and we may, at our own discretion, delete or avoid from recording and storing any and all information.
10. Transfer across boundaries of the information. Our provision of our website or service, involves cross-border data transfers, from any location from which a user may access the Website or service, to the United States of America and to Israel. For the avoidance of doubt, where the service allows for users to be located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), their personal information is transferred to countries outside of the EEA.
Our legal basis for performing such transfer across boundaries are:
1. Model Clauses. We use standard contract clauses, that are binding standards of processing of personal data committed to contractually by third parties processing information for us and on our behalf, approved by the European Commission.
2. In the absence of Model Clauses, Your consent. By using the Website or service, you agree and understand that your information may be transferred from the EEA or other countries in which you may be using the Website or service, to other countries outside your own location (including outside the EEA), and specifically to the USA. You agree to such transfer, and you may understand that data processed in the USA is subject to different data protection laws, which may sometimes grant lesser degree of protection that the privacy laws and regulations applicable within the EEA for example.
3. With respect to the transfer of your information to our third party cloud service providers, we are using the Privacy Shield framework, as a mechanism to transfer your information safely.
11. Data subjects rights. If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights with respect to your data under the EEA applicable law.
• Delete your Account. In case you have an active account on this website, you can stop all information collection and processing and request deletion of all of your information, for this purpose please contact LironCert (info AT lironcert.com). If you delete your account, we will not have any information about you and will not be able to re-associate your activity with previous activity.
• Keep in mind, we may reject requests for certain reasons, including if the request is unlawful or if it may infringe on trade secrets or intellectual property or the privacy of another user.
• Also, we may not be able to accommodate certain requests to object to the processing of personal information, where (i) the processing is based on our legitimate interest, in which case we are not obliged to allow portability of the information; (ii) the processing is based on our need to perform our contract with you, in which case we are not obliged to allow the right to object to the processing of the information.
• In certain countries, you have a right to lodge a complaint with the appropriate supervisory authority in charge of data protection, in case you think that we are breaching any of your right relating to your personal data. The complaint may be lodged at the country which is your place of residence, your place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
If you are located in Israel – if the information in LironCert’s database is used to personally contact you, on the basis of your belonging to a certain population segment, determined according to one or more attributes of people whose names are included in the database (“Commercial Offer”), then you are legally entitled, under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, to demand in writing that the information about you be deleted from the database. In such a case, LironCert will delete only the information it requires in order to send you Commercial Offers as aforesaid. LironCert will continue to legally keep information it requires for the purpose of managing its business or collecting payments due to it, including the documentation of commercial and other activities you performed in the Website, but this information will no longer be used for sending you offers. If, within 30 days, no notice stating that the information LironCert was requested to delete was indeed deleted in accordance with this section, then you will be entitled to approach the court, in the manner prescribed in the regulations under the law, for the court to order LironCert to do so.
